Earlier aspirations of becoming an architect have led Stephen Dominick into more than two decades as a widely diversified professional image-maker with clients ranging from ballerinas to the aerospace industry.  His signature B&W portraits are unforgettable, and have won him acclaim on an international scale.

His personal portrait portfolio includes Guggenheim Bilbao architect Frank Gehry, Steven Page of the Barenaked Ladies, Lois Maxwell – the original Miss MoneyPenny of James Bond fame, guitarist Liona Boyd, actor Paul Gross, Hockey Night in Canada’s Ron MacLean, Edward Kochergin of the Bolshoi Theatre, supermodel Linda Evangelista and Canadian jazz legend Moe Kauffman.

Stephen Dominick has photographed more than a thousand weddings in Niagara and as far away as New York and Italy with his hybrid epic portrait / candid-photojournalistic approach which is rarely paralleled in the profession.  He remains the photographer of choice for many prominent families and celebrities on the most important day of their lives, and is on the referral list of every major hotel and conference centre in southern Ontario. Technical photography of architecture and interior design has always been a passion for Dominick.  He is a member of the Association of Independent Architectural Photographers (AIAP) and collaborates closely with his clients to understand their design and marketing intentions.  His dynamic photographic interpretations of 3-dimensional spaces and structures speak to the transparent quality of the digital medium.  Expert knowledge combined with state-of-the-art digital camera platforms, specialized software and ultra-wide angle optics to correct converging verticals and convey natural perspective ensure top quality photographic images during all seasons of the year anywhere in Canada.  Initial site visits and commercial location surveys are complimentary.
